Case timeline and parties
Capture organ type, donor hospital, recovery team, courier, transplant center, and all stakeholder roles and contact information in one place.
Organ Transport Systems is building a logistics control tower for organ movement: real-time status, chain of custody, condition data, handoff confirmation, exception alerts, and case analytics.
A donor offer becomes a recovery case, then a courier dispatch, then a recipient delivery. Each step crosses organizational boundaries—OPO, recovery team, courier network, air charter, ground transport, transplant center, surgeon, care team, and preservation-device company.
Status updates, condition data, document handoffs, and chain-of-custody confirmations often happen across phone calls, text messages, forms, email, fax, and isolated software systems.
Real-time status, condition alerts, exception management, and a complete case audit trail accessible to every stakeholder in the flow.
Capture organ type, donor hospital, recovery team, courier, transplant center, and all stakeholder roles and contact information in one place.
Track pickup, handoff confirmations, route segments, transport mode, condition monitor links, location, and ETA across all transport legs.
Automatic alerts for delays, temperature excursions, handoff delays, and routing changes. Escalate and notify only relevant stakeholders.
Collect signatures, certifications, condition reports, and mandatory documents at each handoff. Proof of custody and regulatory readiness.
Cold ischemia timeline, courier performance, condition trends, exception frequency, and handoff SLA compliance per center and courier.
Complete case audit trail, role-based access, retention policies, and operational readiness for OPTN/HRSA reporting and internal audit.
Coordinate recovery, manage courier assignment, monitor transport in real time, track handoff completion, and resolve exceptions without phone calls.
Receive real-time delivery status, confirm recipient readiness, capture condition reports at receipt, and maintain complete documentation for audit and care.
Optimize routes, track condition monitors, confirm handoffs with proof, identify delays early, and prove compliance with transport agreements.
Integrate device telemetry, monitor perfusion condition, share real-time data with transport stakeholders, and prove system performance per case.
We are recruiting 2–3 design partners to validate workflows with real transport cases, feedback, and operational metrics over 60 days. This is a no-cost engagement for eligible organizations.
Ideal design partners: OPOs or transplant centers with 5+ cases per month, or courier networks managing 10+ cases per month.
Apply as a Design PartnerA focused review of your current organ transport workflow, stakeholders, pain points, systems, and operational metrics. Delivered as a written report with recommendations.
Organ Transport Systems is designed as logistics and operational software. It does not currently hold or process clinical data. Our security, privacy, and audit posture is designed to scale with regulated workflows.
Every action—status update, handoff confirmation, exception alert, document capture, and stakeholder communication—is logged with timestamp, user, and change details.
Stakeholders see only the cases and data relevant to their role. OPO staff, courier dispatch, transplant coordinators, and surgeons have role-specific views and permissions.
Cases are retained according to organizational policy and regulatory requirements. We design for OPTN/HRSA retention guidance and internal audit needs, not permanent storage.
We are designing security, encryption, access controls, and incident response aligned with the operational and potential future regulatory context of organ transport.
